If you want to write a children’s book on your own but you don’t know how, or you don’t feel confident enough to jump in, or you need help to get from point A to B, I can help.
You can skip my qualifications and scroll down for the Picture Book Coaching Program details.
So, what are my qualifications?
I’m the founder and editor-in-chief of Writers on the Move, a writing and marketing group of writers and authors, and my blog Karen Cioffi Writing and Marketing was honored as Writer’s Digest Website of the Week, June 25, 2012.
Along with this honor, Brian A. Klems, online editor for Writer’s Digest, added a wonderful comment: “This site from Karen Cioffi should stand as a model for other freelance writers.”
As a professional writer and author, I have years of experience ghostwriting and rewriting children’s books (over 350 books). You can also check out my own traditionally published books on my Books page. In addition, I’m a former lead editor with 4RV Publishing, and former staff writer for two online reading comprehension learning centers.
Along with this, I’ve had clients from all over the world: Italy, United Kingdom, Norway, Scotland, Saipan, Jordon, the Philippines, MACAU, Vietnam, and across the United States, including Hawaii. And, I’ve worked with child psychologists, therapists, professors, teachers, parents, grandparents, business owners, and even a dentist.
And more importantly, I have return clients and series clients.
The 4-WEEK CHILDREN’S PICTURE BOOK WRITING PROGRAM:
Here’s what you get with this $399.99 program:
• Hand-holding as you write your own book. I’ll provide an e-copy of my book “How to Write a Children’s Fiction Book” and you’ll start your story.
• Weekly calls (15 to 30 minutes) to go over what you’ve done, and I’ll guide you through the process. I’ll review each period’s work and give you constructive feedback and guidance.
• Review your manuscript to make sure it’s formatted properly.
• A list of reasonably priced and quality illustrators if you’re self-publishing.
• My 29-page, no fluff, “DIY Self-Publishing (From Manuscript to Publication).” It’ll help you take your manuscript onto the self-publishing path.
I also recommend three specific traditionally published picture books to study during the program.
Please note that payment fees, like those that PayPal charges, will be added to the price of the program. It’s usually 5 percent.
