MIDDLE GRADE BOOK COACHING PROGRAM

8 to 12-Week Middle Grade Book Coaching

Write your own middle grade book in up to 12-weeks.

PRICING is front and center:

Young (Simple) Middle Grade
$1,440 for 8-weeks (payable in 6 payments of $240 each)

Middle of the Road Middle Grade:
$1740 for 10-weeks (payable in 6 payments of $290 each)

Upper Middle Grade:
$2,040 for 12-weeks (payable in 6 payments of $340 each)
Payment service fees for either option are additional.

Overall, the middle grade book reader range is 8-12.

Young middle grade: Ages 8-10 / word count 15,000 to 25,000
Middle grade: Ages 9-12 / word count 25,000 to 45,000
Upper middle grade: Ages 12/13 word count 45,000 to 65,000

The topics can be more serious than for younger ages, but there are still restrictions. For example, it's best to have only one POV for a young middle grade story.

Here’s a basic outline of what a middle-grade book involves:
• Word count per chapter is usually 1,500 to 2,000 words.
• The book should have a full character arc as well as a full story (narrative) arc.
• For middle and upper-middle, there can be two point of views, so two protagonists. For young middle grade, POV should be limited to one.
• The page count varies between the three middle-grade genres:
64+ for young middle grade
100+ for middle grade
160+ for upper middle grade.
• There can be illustrations/images, but they’re not necessary. Although, young middle-grade should include at least one for each chapter. You can use black and white sketches.

The word count with middle books gives the writer freedom to elaborate, provide details, descriptions, include subplots, among other narrative elements.

CHILDREN’S MIDDLE GRADE BOOK COACHING PROGRAM

This coaching program will hold your hand as you write your own book. I’ll provide a copy of my eBook “How to Write a Children’s Fiction Book”, and I’ll guide you through the process.

I’ll review each period’s work and give you constructive feedback and guidance.

Below is a complete list of what you’ll get with the Middle Grade Writing Program. And, when you’re finished, you will have actually written your own book!

Here’s what you get:
• An initial 30 to 45-minute call to get started. Hand-holding as you write your own book. And an e-copy of my book “How to Write a Children’s Fiction Book,” and you’ll start your story.
• After the initial call, there will be once a week 15 to 20-minute calls to go over what you’ve done, and I’ll guide you through the process. I’ll review each period’s work and give you constructive feedback and guidance.
• You go at your own speed. I will, though, offer a writing structure to help keep you on track.
• Review your manuscript to make sure it’s formatted properly.
• Tips on submitting to traditional publishers.
• Review of your book’s synopsis and description.
• A list of reasonably priced and quality illustrators if you’re self-publishing.
• My 29-page, all-content ebook, “DIY Self-Publishing (From Manuscript to Publication).” It ’ll help you take your manuscript onto the self-publishing path – if that’s the direction you want to go.
• I also recommend two specific traditionally published middle-grade books to study during the program.

I ALSO OFFER MODIFIED COACHING PROGRAMS. EMAIL ME IF YOU'D LIKE TO FIND OUT MORE!

SCAM ALERT

There are ghosting sites that are stealing the profiles of reputable ghostwriters and putting them on their sites. MY SERVICES ARE ONLY OFFERED HERE. If you see my profile on another site stating I work for them, they’re scammers.
